A new piggy-bank developed by the Japanese requires gamers to insert money as they play the RPG on it's little LED screen. BankQuest is set to hit stores in Japan on August 7th. Wired has the story.

If you want to equip your character to fight the beasts, you have to put money into the bank. You can use it to buy over 160 different items, which have a combined worth of 10,000 yen (about $100).
